The relative position of the installation part of the ignition coil and other various components must meet the requirements of the design scheme, otherwise, it may directly affect the regular work of the redundant power supply. For example, the high-frequency choke coil and the magnetic antenna in the simple semiconductor material recorder should be reasonably distributed and effective; the coil and the oscillator coil should be vertical to each other, which prevents the harm of mutual coupling. Before use, it should be checked whether the structure of the coil is firm, whether the turns are falling off and loose, whether the wire joints are loose, whether the magnetic core rotates easily, and whether there is a loose buckle. After all such areas have been checked to meet the standards, the installation is carried out.
Some coils must be fine-tuned during use, and it is very inconvenient to change the number of coils. Therefore, the fine-tuning method should be fully considered when adopted. For example, the single-sided coil can be selected by removing the number of trapped coils that rely on the nodes, that is, winding one end of the coil for 3 to 4 turns in advance, and during fine-tuning, moving its part can change the amount of the inductor. Practical experience has proved that this kind of adjustment method can also complete the fine-tuning of the inductor quantity of ±2%-±3%. For coils used in short-wave and ultra-short-wave circuits, a half-turn is often left open for fine-tuning. Removing or folding the half-turn will change the amount of the inductor to complete the fine-tuning. The fine-tuning of the double-layer coil by segment can be done by moving a comparative distance by segment. The number of turns of the movable segment should be 20%-30% of the total number of turns. Practical experience has proved that this kind of fine-tuning range can reach 10%-15%. The coil with the magnetic core can adjust the position of the magnetic core in the coil tube to complete the fine-tuning of the coil inductance.
When the ignition coil is in use, it is not necessary to arbitrarily change the appearance of the coil. Size and distance between coils, otherwise the coil's original inductance will be compromised. Especially coils with higher frequency, i.e. lower number of turns. Therefore, the high-frequency coils used in TVs at this stage are generally sealed and fixed with high-frequency wax or other materials. In addition, it should be noted that during the repair, it is not necessary to change or adjust the position of the original coil casually, to prevent the common failure of detuning. The adjustable coil should be installed in the easy-to-adjust part of the equipment, which is convenient to adjust the inductance of the coil to achieve the best operating state.
