The maintenance of the auto-ignition coil is to maintain its good insulation performance, and its main contents are:
1. The outer surface of the ignition coil should be kept clean. When the external surface of the ignition coil is seriously contaminated, it is easy to cause a high-voltage discharge flashover, and the external surface will be burned.
2. The ignition coil should be protected from moisture as much as possible to keep the insulation of the ignition coil.
3. The connection between the ignition coil and the high-voltage conductor should be firm and reliable. When the connection part is loose, it is also easy to cause discharge flashover and burn the nearby parts.
4. For the battery ignition device with electric shock, even if the engine stops running, the ignition switch should be turned off. Otherwise, when the breaker just stays closed due to electric shock, the low-voltage coil of the ignition coil will continuously pass through a large current, resulting in an excessively high-temperature rise. When the temperature of the ignition coil is too high, the insulation strength of the insulation material is reduced, which is easy to cause breakdown damage to the auto ignition coil.
